Focus Zoom Camera to DVR9000MP Series.

| 1. you will need the 4 pins connector "Comes with your camera in the same plastic bag along with the camera metal mounting adaptor" | ||
| 2. Solder the T + and R + together as RS485 Positive Control Wire using a soldering iron. "We recommend using a CAT5/CAT3 twisted pair cable copper cable." | ||
| 3. Solder the T - and R- together as RS485 Negative Control Wire using a soldering iron. "We recommend using a CAT5/CAT3 twisted pair cable copper cable." | ||

||
| 4. Plug in the RS485 control wire into the camera "make sure you have the Positive and Negative wire soldered properly" | ||
| 5. Connect the 12VDC power and Video Cable to the Camera. | ||
| 6. Connect Camera Video Output to your TV/Monitor | ||
|
|
||
| 7. Press Menu button to access the OSD on the camera and go to Communication Setting | ||
|
|
||
| 8. Using RS485
control, you can connect and control more than one camera to your DVR. Each Camera MUST have unique CAMERA ID Number. We usually set the first camera as CAMERA ID 1 and the second camera as CAMERA ID 2 |

| 9. Set the PROTOCOL = PELCO | ||
| 10. SPEED = 9600 | ||
| 11. PARITY = NONE | ||
| 12. EXIT the Camera OSD | ||
| 13. Connect Camera to DVR's Video input CH #1 | ||
|
|
||
| 14. There is a DB26 connection on the back of the DVR. Note: DB26 Connection Male Plug is NOT included with the DVR. You can purchase it from your local Radio Shack. Or Order it from www.cctvfactory.com for $12.00 shipping included. | ||
| 15. Connect the RS485 Positive + to Pin 1. Connect the RS485 Negative - to Pin 2. | ||
| 16. Make sure you the RS422/RS485 Switch is in RS485 position | ||

||
| 17. Press the MENU button on DVR and select PTZ setting under LINK Setup | ||
|
|
||
| 18. Under PTZ setting Change the MODEL# from NONE to PELCO P-TYPE | ||
| 19. Make sure the SPEED is 9600 | ||
| 20. Change the ID number in reference to your CAMERA ID# you already
programmed in Step 7. e.g. CAMERA ID 1 = ID 1 on VIDEO CH 1 |

| 21. Press the ESC button -> Save and Exit | ||
|
|
||
| 22. You can only control the Zoom Camera when the camera is in Full Screen
Display. So press the CAMERA/NUMBER INPUT to select your Zoom Camera in full screen Then press the PTZ button to start control the camera's Zoom in/out feature. Turn the Shuttle control Clockwise and Counter Clockwise to control the Zoom in/out. |
